This activity was by invitation only. I was invited by Juan Cintron, the one that was coordinating the activity. I was really excited, I don’t get many calls inviting me for these types of activities. This activity was held in the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico in Santurce. The activity was indoors and outdoors. Outdoors they had a bar and music. Inside at the LAUREL KITCHEN: ART BAR Restaurant they had the food and a selection of drinks. The bar is from Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The selection of drink were: strawberry mojito, a “piña colada¨ mimosa, a ginger ale and a bloody Mary. I tried all of them except the bloody Mary, they were really refreshing, sweet and light. The food selection was the following: French toast, a BLT burger, hash brown, and an omelette. I tried the hash brown, it had tofu marinated with honey, the hash brown was with malanga, and dried eggplant slices that were seasoned like bacon. All the dishes had a muffin with nutella which i tried i tiny little bit. The dish was really good, delicious, and well seasoned. The other dishes like the french toast was breaded in panko with fresh fruit syrup; the omelette was stuffed with Gouda mac&cheese with bacon, and the BLT burger was with Swiss cheese and syrup. The restaurant was completely full, literally there was a waiting list. Despite this, the service was excellent, fast and they were really nice. I thank Juan for inviting me it was an excellent experience, great food, great music and great people.
