Address: Calle Arbolote Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Near Centro de Bellas Artes. They have a simple menu with big plates. I tried the stuffed steak with Amarillo (sweet plantain and bacon) with tostones, my parents tried the mofongo. All where perfectly cooked, seasoned, tender and fresh.Service: The service is excellent, they make you feel like family and are very considerate to food allergies. They are also the owners of of the Mexican restaurant called Chilango. These are very different styles La Marea is more laid back and Chilango is more party-bar atmosphere. La marea has a nautical-under the sea theme which is really nice. You can order from Chilango if you are in La Marea and vice-versa.
