Art and wine/ IL nonno

At the Italian restaurant Il Nonno there is this really cool activity held during the weekends called art and wine. It’s a relaxed art class where the instructor takes you step by step to help you draw and chances the picture every course unless by popular demand. He chooses the image and the colors. Everything is provided for you: the paint, apron, canvas, napkins and brushes. With the ticket that you buy you get a 20% discount on the food. So this is a good deal when you worked up your appetite while painting. You have two options for the wine: one is at $35 where you will get two glasses of wine or cocktail; the second is that you can have a whole bottle of wine for yourself. In this last option you can either consume while painting, consume while your having dinner or take it home. They have two sessions on Saturday one at 3pm and the other at 5pm. Sometimes they might have Friday or Sunday also available but I suggest following them on Facebook and Eventbrite to make sure. You can also reserve with them a private session for a group events. On the session where I went they chose a flower to paint. I really liked the session, the instructor is really nice, funny and makes you feel like family. I went with my mom and later dad joined for dinner. Il Nonno serves simple Italian food that is very delicious. My parents had pasta with chicken and Bolognese. I had skirt stake with a delicious salad. The ambiance is very relaxing and you can bring the whole family. They have limited parking but they do have valet.
